Answering while not logged in
6 Answers
Sometimes I type a carefully considered answer, only to find when I send it that I am not logged in.
On the old steam driven answerbank you could then log in and all your hard work reappeared ready to be sent.
Now in the digital age, after logging in you find that your meticulously constructed tome has gone down the plughole. Annoying.

No best answer has yet been selected by Panic Button. Once a best answer has been selected, it will be shown here.
For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.The way to resolve this, Panic, is to construct your longer answers in Notepad or MS Word - then copy / paste. I've done this for months now, even under the old system because too often I 'lost' messages.
Another way, if that sounds like too much trouble is to highlight the text of your answer BEFORE you send it, press CTL / C , then that saves a cache copy of the text in memory in your PC. Then if the AB system fouls up on sending, you've still got the text stored.
Go back to the Answer screen and press CTL / V to get the text back again.
