Apparantly, there is another site called Answerbook for that purpose.

But if you search really really hard then they can be found.

Archie - You are right - as it's so cold outside, my fairies & pixies are huddled together at the bottom of my garden keeping themselves warm - well at least that's what they told me they were doing this morning!

 

My daughter is a fan of Answerbook - but I've yet to give it a go.

Are they Archie? - I didn't realise they both were! It must be all good stuff then. Might give it a go one of these days - mind you us three are always gassing on the phone to each other, so we'll never get any work done then will we?

Has AB Editor been swearing in his/her responses?  Surely your own answers don't need to be edited by Answerbank????

I don't think the Editor was swearing or shouting - he/she was just editing his/her own spooling mistaeks and typographical errors.  In other words - due to the fact that the Editor is the oligarchical hierarchical bourgeoisie and we (the workers and answerers) are merely the oppressed proletariat - he/she allows him/herself the privilege of editing and correcting his/her own answers, whereas we have to struggle under the oppressive mass of our own typos.

 

Therefore we should have a revolution, seize control of the Answerbank, and release the political prisoners.  Or unban the banned answers.  Or something.  On second thoughts, let's wait until evening when the Editor has gone home, and then we can revolt for the whole weekend before he/she notices.

I think it would be good to have a chat-room-style bit on AB, but it must have some restrictions like no swearing or anything offensive, same rules as the AB itself. Or, the webmasters at AB could create an instant message service a bit like MSN messenger, the thoughts are endless!
