Do the AB editors read every question and answer that is posted here? also how many editors are there?

Yes - we read every question. There are a number of editors.

AB Ed - If you read every question, please could you tell me why I still cannot go to the 'next' page of a category? Every time I press on next page, it tells me:

 

 "This Page Cannot Be Displayed".

 

This has been happening for a few days now.

Smudge - this technical problem has been brought to the attention of our technicians and is being investigated. I hope it doesn't cause too much misery between now and when it will (soon) be fixed.

Aha!  If there are several editors, presumably that explains why there is so much inconsistency in the editing and the consequent grumbling from the proletarian masses.

does that mean then that editors do this as part of other jobs?

Oi bernardo, who are you calling 'proletarian'. What makes you think we're all working class? (Only jesting of course)! :~)

It has been obvious that there is more than one editor.  One editor in particular has a very good sense of humour and always gives us good answers.  Another justs posts standard answers and never bothers to read our queries properly!  They will recognise who they are.  Happy Christmas to you anyway.

We are the oppressed proletarian masses who do all the work (answering questions and researching them, googling, providing links etc) and the Editors are the oppressive hierarchical bourgeoisie who extract surplus value from our labours.  And who gets paid?  They do!  What do we get? Nothing!  Apart from having some of our answers randomly edited and deleted all over the place without so much as a by-your-leave!  We have nothing to lose but our chocklet!  Rise up ye masses and let's overthrow the tyranny of the editors!
