We'd rather not have our thousands of users fill up the boards with Xmas greetings, which is why Cetti's post was removed.

Of course, we're no Scrooge-like characters (despite what some people may now suggest) and are happy for people to post seasonal messages as answers - just not as questions, please.

Hi  woofs - No, you didn't imagine it. I couldn't honestly believe my eyes as it was done with such good intentions and only once a year at that. It's something we've always done in the past - a sort of end of term greeting to all. Very sad - and hurtful. :-(

AB Ed - I noticed yesterday, that Vinny100 posted a   'question' on People & Places, headed 'Happy Christmas'. Why does this greeting still remain, when Cetti's was banned? Only asking!
