Which category?

Just wanted to clarify something....for example....if someone has a crossword clue about an animal which category should it go in.  I would say this is still "Quizzes & Puzzles" but more and more these types of question are going into the more specific sections which doesn't seem right and also increases the chances of question duplication.

 

Thoughts?

I agree with you!  If all quiz or puzzle questions were put into that section, it would be easier for people doing the quiz to see all the answers.  Many quizzes and puzzles have questions on various subjects.

 

I report them as being in the incorrect category if they are clearly related to quizzes or puzzles (the same for advert questions which get put into Film & TV).

Quiz questions that are placed in categories other than the Quizzes & Puzzles section are moved to the appropriate place whenever possible.

given that we have a q and p section, I think that people should post there rather than knock non q and p q's down the list in other sections. Ed has explained that search engines will by pass the home page and put a searcher into a specific section, so if they don't RTFM before they start, they will post the q on the page they end up at
