Is it my imagination or are the various Eds getting more involved in creating threads and posting to other ABers threads. Time was when Ed's job was to moderate, not participate. Anyone else find this irritating?

No. It proves that the Editor is enjoying his job and taking it seriously. And he does moderate as well, so no problems.

The staff can't win can they? When they were silent and appeared to be none existant we bitched and moaned. When, like now, they participate and interact with us, we (you) still moan!

I hope they continue to waffle away to us, it's nice to know there's a person behind the keyboard.

Not in the slightest, McMouse....I think it's a nice touch that they interact with us and makes us know that they're there.
I welcome it and hope they continue to do so.

Obviously I have reservations posting on this one.

Thanks for the support - although I am certain there are more supporters of McMouse's veiwpoint than have been expressed thus far.

I do try and keep it to a minimum. Is it the polls that got you McMouse?
