dear ed - please could you fix it for me that if someone writes "Noo Labour" the AB filter will automatically correct this to "New Labour" - I have no love of the labour party but I have even less love for rubbish jokes from the late 90's.

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Dot, I'm not sure whether your puzzlement relates to the question or to my response to it. If the latter, a mantra is a constantly chanted phrase...such as Noo Labour, Loony Leftie...and incommunicado means lacking the means of communication.
My point was that our little band of AnswerBank right-wingers, most often seen in the News category here, are very fond of chanting these words, clearly dreamt up years ago by someone OTHER than themselves. In other words, they are not communicating anything original.

I don't see why we need ANY censorship.
AB Ed and Spare Ed are quick enough to delete obscene/unwated/offensive answers, why couldn't it be left at that?
I moderate at another forum, and if someone uses words or language that are giving obvious offence to other members,I delete the words(or in extreme circumstances the thread).
