Ed its happened again. I posted an answer here

http://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/Body-and-Soul/Question89486.html

(handshakes for the ladies) and the answer has vanished completely. Has anyone else had this problem? I have just looked back at my posted q's and find that this is the third time that this has happened and that it has also happened to Quizmonster

Woofgang - we have no record of the answer to which you refer. This could well be a technical problem, and it will be looked into.

forgot to add that it did post, as I read it on the thread immediately after posting it
this does happen occassionally, I try to rmember and cntrl-c a long answer before I post, then I can paste it in again if the post goes awol. Don't always manage though.

Yes, W, it did happen to me several months ago. Every time I posted an answer, my screen was thrown back to the site's home page. On my return to the appropriate question-page, there was no sign of my response.

Not only that, but - when I tried to contact the powers that be here by using the 'Contact us' button which appears at the bottom of each page - I was unable to use that facility either. The same appeared to be true when I tried via normal e-mail channels. The Editor eventually told me he/she had replied, but I certainly never received it.

In the end, I had to get my partner to put a question here in the Suggestions category through her computer at work! That seemed to do the trick quite rapidly, but - although I did ask for an outline of their procedure in case of any recurrence - I was given no explanation of what the techies actually did. I guess you'll just have to hope one of them remembers what I'm talking about. Good luck!
