How about a separate topic for recommendations, if someone finds something online that they think other people might find interesting but aren't bothered about getting any replies?

Or is that what CB is for?

I like the idea of a favourites-style system. Somewhere between "social bookmarking" and a directory would be good. Don't worry, it has been spoken about in AB towers and we will come to it eventually.

We are o.k.B00. Hope you are likewise. AB still has a lot to sort-out before venturing upon other ideas.....We no longer get E/mail notifications for answers to our questions or subscriptions to threads....They suddenly stopped a month or so back.

2 reasons -

1 - the internet is full of interesting stuff...why would anyone trawl through it to get recommendations off strangers? surely its just opinions...

2 - because its question and answer site...

why do people seek to change AB into a general chatroom forum, or something else?

(not meant as a dig at you, just cant see the point, as if people want to find a site about something...then they just ask...)
