I just had a one line answer removed - I can only presume because I said someone was a 't w e r p'. Is that now a banned word? (If it is, I expect this question will mysteriously disappear too). :o)
It might be a good idea for the Ed to publish a full list of the words we mustn't use in AB. !!! I recently had a word removed; it had been spelled correctly with Ass after Jack.
Spacing and spelling are most important ( ideally spaced in your present posting.)
Perhaps we should just type words backwards with a slight twist of spelling as Dylan Thomas did. His play 'Under Milkwood' is set in the village of 'Llaragub.'
The thing is Ron, it wasn't just the word that was removed - it was the whole post - and it was only one line. After some of the stuff I read on here, it's confusing to say the least. :o/
It does seem a bit over the top to have had the whole answer removed. Perhaps I was lucky because only one word was replaced in my answer with just a few asterisks.
Furthermore, whilst I endeavour to avoid obscene words, I wouldn't consider Twirp to be such. In fact, whilst some dictionaries list it as a slang word, my Collins 2006 edition has classified it as informal for 'a silly weak minded person'
