Search facility

Not working again - I asked for any queries relating to Radio Times Crossword 45, and was told "No Questions", even though the fourth item on Page one was about Radio Times 45!

Dear Bogtrotter,

Our search facility doesn't index all questions immediately, it has short breaks before it sweeps through and collects them all up. You must have searched during one of these breaks.

I will make a note at least for when it comes to upgrading the search that we should maybe make more regular sweeps of Q&P/Crosswords in particular.

I find the search facility useless anyway. For example I picked the word "upgrading" from the eds post above. Didn't find it!

right I just searched for "ozzzbolokey" and did not find anything. So what is it actually searching?

I think the search facility is great and very underused- particularlyfor crosswords at weekends where the same questions are often asked and answered several times.
The only problem is that the time delay- it doesn't pick up searches from the last couple of hours, as the Ed said.
Here's the ozzzbolokey one- the search was successful for me.
