Ed has asked us, on occasion, not to reply to trolls as otherwise it feeds the trolls' egos after they have been suspended. If such posts were removed more quickly this could not happen to the extent that today's examples show.
I agree ttfn. It's one thing reporting them but then they stay on the site all weekend when they should be removed. The poster shouldn't have the satisfaction of knowing they're still here. The moderators should have the ability to remove the posts completely.
if the posts would have been removed quicker people wouldnt have been replying on them, its all very well saying dont feed the trolls, in fairness they should make sure this type of content is not left languishing for hours on end.
tiggs, there are too many ip hiders/temporary ip address stuff now that banning an ip is fruitless
It should also be remembered that this site is open to any age range, families have shared computers etc. Would anyone really want their child to read such overtly sexual vitriol as that?
