Not really a suggestion and don't know whether this has come up before so please be patient with me if it has been questionned already. Thanks.

When someone posts a question and you receive a few answers that you would like to highlight as being good are you just limited to one choice?

Surely you can only have one best answer? lol

... and what is it actually for? Clicking it doesn't seem to do anything besides refreshing the page.
The 'best answer' thingy has never worked. It replaced the 'star ratings' (with one, two or three stars) which questioners used to be able to award to answers, which seemed a good system to me.
Ah yes, I remember the Stars. Wasn't around when it changed over to this wonderful non-functioning method though. :-)
Yer, Buenchico, why fix if it's not broken...
I don't think it does anything at all. I posted a thread and marked one of the answers as "best", but all it did was remove those words from that particular answer. It didn't show up on the public view of the thread at all. I don't know what it's for.
It's just there for style. :-)
ditto boxtops.. how you doing mate ?
Another AB 'pay per click' affiliation ... probably, lol ;-)
It's broken now I've often wondered about this 'best answer' bit.and whether I'm being rude not giving a mark. but no-one can tell can they?
If there is only one answer, it must be 'the best' by default. Much better to post a grateful reply to each response which pleases you.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention the bit about it not actually doing anything when you do click on it!

Can't we have the star rating thing back Mr Ed?
Do we really need to be awarded or rewarded for answers.? I recall the issue having been previously raised and someone having mentioned the difficulty if a respondent had been given three stars and another ABer then came on the scene with a far better response.
