Can we have a Yorkshire Day on 1st August as well then, please?

Englishman by birth - Yorkshireman by the grace of God
Do we have to have any acknowledgement on here -theres usually plenty thread running anyway for any given 'special' day.......
AB surely should remain impartial since their 'readers' come from near and far.
I think its a non starter.
could england find 7 great people ?????????? :)
I'm slightly offended at the Ed finding the whole St Georges day, and in particular AB making a reference to it. If I remember correctly we even had a Cuban flag (think it was Cuba anyway) flag up for the day as it was where most of the techy staff came from!
*making a reference to it tacky*

Disagree- seeig as most of Ab's users are English or British if you prefer, i think it's quite fitting we celebrate our national day.
Yes.
The English National Flag flown on the day (preferably starting at some point in the early morning rather than lunchtime) of the English Patron Saint would be a little more appropriate rather than the Chilean Flag we had for a while last year.....
true, blender. OK, add B00 to the list.
It's worth jack diddly imo, blender, Dris has haggis for breckie, breaks farts that'll frighten even the Loch Ness Monster and shouts "FREEDOM" in her sleep ( She likes Mel Gibson's Braveheart ), so her opinion is somewhat biased on this occasion.

We do for St Patricks day....so we should for us Brits too. Hip Hip Hoorah!

Well said, Boo x
B00 -its Q & A forum and if they want to retain most of their advertising revenue then it means that regardless they should accept that they shouldnt alienate other users.
Dont agree with the English comment at all -im actually surprised the Ed invited this to be honest -no offence to you B00 youre entilted to your opinion.
Theres threads right left and centre for any given day -I think thats sufficient.
Kinda seriously makes me and daresay others wonder if it is indeed perceived as an English site -hope not:(
x for Dris btw....i aint daft :0)
