Have only heard one good review but would like some more input if anyone would care to let me know if they enjoyed or not.

Michael Connelly's 'Trunk Music' was suggested to me but it took me 3 weeks to get past the first few pages. I know it depends upon one's mood so I would appreciate other readers' opinions.

Trunk Music by Michael Connelly is one of
detective Harry Bosch's cases. All of Harry
Bosch's cases are immensely readable.
I have read every one and enjoyed them all.
Question Author
I'll keep plugging away at it. I've nothing against the story or the author, I reckon it is just one's mood. I like reading crime/courtroom drama books.

It's all very well googling stuff but it's so much nicer to hear from people who have read similar and or the author's books in question.

Harry Bosch seems a deep charachter (I like) thank you baitress
If you really like good crime thrillers
try Lee Child, Robert Crais, James
Patterson, Matt Hilton, Chris Collett
or Simon Kernick.
They are all excellent reads and fast
moving.Try and enjoy.

Good recommendations there, I'd also add Mark Billingham, an english writer, and Jo Nesbo, a norwegian writer - just discovered him thanks to a tip from a friend and I'm hooked!
thanks chelle for that reminder.
I also would like to add Stuart Macbride.
and Quintin Jardine to the list.
