Yes .Love them .
Read the whole series so far and waiting for the latest one entitled Not Dead Yet .
I've never read him but will now - it is always nice to hear about a good read.
Yes they're brilliant, nearly read them all now :)
Thanks folks, another author to add to my "must read" list. Will I live that long?
Reading Camilla Lackberg at the moment - excellent.
I know I could google, but I prefer hearing from real people. What sort of genre ?
Is it thriller/murder mystery? (I have a soft spot for that type of book)
..You're getting like me Maggie .I've got a huge list of reservations at the library and I often think ....will I still be here until I get to the end of them .
Murder ..alba.
All about a DS called Roy Grace based in Brighton .Really good compounded by the fact that his wife disappeared and that's part of the story that goes on in the background whilst he's picking up dead bodies off the beach :)
Alba - yes they're british crime thrillers, the Roy Grace series. Can't recommend them enough!
Many thanks, will make a beeline for the library tomorrow.

Sounds like it could be right up my boulevard. Last decent one I read was Sarah Rayne, Spider Light. Quite passable.
Question Author
Apart from the Roy Grace series (I've just read Dead Like you) he's written several other books too, about 13 altogether, so I've got a lot of good reading to look forward to ! He's on a par with Peter Robinson and his DCI Alan Banks books.
Another favourite of mine .He's a got new one out this year Watching the Dark but it's not a Banks this time .
I've read all of his books, he's definitely one of my favourites.
Question Author
Hi shaney - I like all Peter Robinson books, even the ones that aren't about DCI Banks. When you find a good author, they're worth their weight in gold. Can't wait to get my next Peter James.
Question Author
Infomaniac - you won't regret it.
I was wrong there. It is a new Banks ...On Fantastic Fiction it's listed under his novels not under the Banks list .
Just looked on Amazon and it is indeed a Banks .Out in August .Good oh :)
Question Author
Wish it was out next week !
I'm reading the latetst Kate Ellis atm .The Cadaver Game .Have you tried them ?
Really good

Peter James lives locally here in Sussex and I've met him many a time at book evenings. He's always interesting to listen to and to talk to. Some of his other (non Roy Grace books) are quite sinister and also quite disturbing. They're really excellent. I can recommend them. Happy reading everyone !
Question Author
No, I haven't heard of Kate Ellis, but I'm always on the lookout for new authors, so thanks for that.

janbee - have you read Mo Hayder, they don't come much more disturbing I can assure you !
No. I've never heard of Mo Hayder. I'll look out for the name though. I quite like to be chilled to my marrow !! Thanks for the tip.
