Does everyone know of the Fantastic Fiction .co.uk web site .My friendly librarian put me on to it and I couldn't believe how comprehensive it is. Authors, books in series, future publications, synopsis of published works. It's Waterstones !! Brilliant
I've used it for a long time now .Very useful site if you're a bookworm .
If you like crime novels this one is very useful too.

It's a pretty good site treetops run by a librarian .Frequently updated and you can sign up for email alerts on new stuff coming out ..Comprehensive reviews and there's a monthly competition you can enter .
Once you have the info you need and you want to find out where you can get it - try bookkoob.co.uk It'll track down all available copies and gives their prices too. It's really helpful for finding out of print or rarer books.
Tis a great website, my local library put me on to it. Soneone recommended this website on another thread earlier, put in an author and it will reommend others for you. http://www.literature-map.com/
Ooh, that's a good one rocky. We have a 'who else writes like' book at work which we use, but it's getting a bit dated. I'm taking a note of that site and will put it to good use. Thanks :)
hmmm that site is a bit flawed rocky - if i put in garth nix then darren shan is really close meaning a very close match but if i do it the other way round they are much further apart.......bit strange, still very useful though :o)
