In the fifties I read an American book of short stories called Chanceville, one of the stories was called Chanceville, hence the title. I cannot remember the author, or authors. Has anyone heard of it?

Thanks bigjack. I'm sure it was Chanceville, a fictional small town where a young drifter falls foul of the local sheriff.
