The Da Vinci Code
Pretty much anything by Jodi Picoult.
Da Vinci Code for me too.
Da vinci Code is a masterclass in appalling, but then so is 50 Shades of Grey and anything by Martina Cole.
The Silmarillion

The Hobbit is brilliant
LOTR is good (if a bit long winded)
The Silmarillion is really, really pants
Agree with China Doll, and also anything by Virginia Andrews. Loved the Da Vinci Code.
No offense to anyone religious but two of the holy books of 2 of the three big religions bored me to death as i just couldn't get into them. I know they're not books per se but more teachings and verses but i really didn't understand a word of either of them and though that the holy men and women who read them religiously on a daily basis must have the patience of saints excuse the pun.
The Bible.
Angela's Ashes. I could not get into that book. It was recommended to me as a good holiday read. It wasn't.
Sharingan, aren't you a school girl?? ummm I haven't read 50 shades of grey but I already know it's one of the worst ever written from the snippets I hear.

The Da Vinci code isn't appalling, it sets a good scene but it's pace isn't very good. I'm almost certain Dan Brown has a brilliant coffee table book in him, he just hasn't got there.

I think Steven King has ideas but he's not very good at putting them down on paper.

The Twilight Saga, in particular the last book, where the baby talks. I can;t even begin to imagine how ridiculous that looks on screen. It's terrible, Dawson Creek with vampires, and what the hell is a 120 year old bloke doing chasing a school kid.

Mein Kampf was probably pretty boring as well as completely crazy.
Virginia Andrews, thats a blast from the past, I loved Flowers in the Attic, I must have been 10 when I read that mind.
Where's Wally? - complete let down.
I'd say The Celestine Prophecy. But reading it prompts you to experience coincidences (yes, really), and that is wonderful.
Can't remember the exact title, something to do with talking about Kevin. It is the only book I have picked up in my adult years that I've not finished. So bl**dy depressing.
We need to talk about kevin saxy.... it's actually one of my favourite books of all time :c)
It's always interesting how tastes differ so much.
We Need to Talk about Kevin is also one of my favourites and I loved The Silmarillion
The Da Vinci Code is about the worst book I've ever tried to read (I couldn't finish it)
Fifty Shades of Grey has to be near the top of the list
I'm with Douglas.
JK Rowling- Casual Vacancy - load of broccoli
50 Shades of Grey
Lord Of The Flies - that book should be banned and burned!
A Room With A View

I actually liked the Da Vinci Code
