Another Story Without End.

So far the first is doing brilliantly, without my interference. I have decided, therefore, to post another with just the title and let you all do your best.

The title is "VOLCANO SPRINGS"

Again, this is just for fun, and I promise not to interfere with the story one dot.

..... he grabbed her! Pushed a chloroform soaked hankie in her face and as she sank into the blackness he bundled her into the boot of his car .... he was the other eleven's opening batsman!

Exercise is good for you, competitiveness can be the death. As the car clattered through the streets,body bumping side to side in the boot, the driver stopped suddenly. He went white. He....

felt a strange tightening in his left arm, the pain was overwhelming, he too sank into a deep deep blackness, and as he passed out the car swerved narrowly missing a little girl standing by a zebra crossing (though quite why a zebra was crossing the road with a little girl is puzzling) the car hit a tree, turned over and rattled down a gully, the force of the car's journey into the gully forced open the boot and Missie bounced out ...

...even though she'd being dieting for the past month, She rolled to a stop dizzy and dazed.
The little girl and zebra appeared at the top of the gulley in her eyesight. the little girl shouted...

"ooh, that looks like fun! You think we could try that?"
Bloodied and bruised, Missie raised her head and said "trust me kid, it's not, can you fetch a policeman and an ambulance? I think my kidnapper is dead.... no, better make that an undertaker, bit late for an ambulance...."

i have chosen nungate for BA only because of the Zebra: but, do not feel disheartened confused, as you are equal in my opinion for the award - perhaps if Big Ed is reading this he/she will find a way of rewarding both of you with equal best answer. Please do keep going though, as I am intrigued by the way your story is evolving between you.

....but to our tale .....

Missie gave her statement to the police, at first they had trouble believeing her sorry tale but the production of the navy y-fronts (with the loose elastic) was enought to convince them of the truth of her tale - though the chloroform smelling hankie also helped....
The police headed out to the cricket grounds and arrested all of the other eleven, but they were unable to locate the whereabouts of the missing car park attendant/wicket keeper.
You may ask what happened to the little girl and her zebra, well she rode off into the sunset on the zebra's back having been rewarded by the police with a massive lollipop .... she'll probably come to a sticky end ....

And a sticky end it was indeed, as the lollipop feel gently from her hand and into the zebra's eye, causing the animal to kick wildly and veer from its path, hurting his hoof. Swaggering and swaying and blinded from the lollipop the zebra ran straight into a bus full of tourists. The girl was pelted full force into a bush where.....

trip-trap-tripping over bridges. But today was not one of those days as he was being utilised as a look out whilst the couple...

were busy taking photgraphs of a secret government base. A base so secret even the government was totally unaware of it's existence. Why were they watching? What is behind those high fences of razor wire and security gates?
and why is it being watched...........

Startled by the arrival of a flying girl they were distracted attending to her so much they didn't notice the supermarket truck nor the two suspicious looking gentlemen who had scoped the area was clear then proceeded to put the zebra in the back.

Only as it was pulling away one of the couple noticed it, "hey look!"
"at what?" it was too late the truck trundled away toward the heavily guarded building. "Did you see the plate?"
"no the bush obscured the view but what I could see on the side read e.s.c.o."
After checking the girl was fine the undercover agents proceeded to...

make their report to thier chief. Who immediately set his "boffins" to establish exactly which organisation used the initials e.s.c.o as an acronym...
Meantime, he ordered the two agents to continue their surveillance, but the little girl was distaught at the loss of her "friend" and proved to be somewhat troublesome and was all for charging into the building in search of her friend ..
seeing that there was no alternative but to follow the little girl, our intrepid agents produced wire cutters from their "surveillance kit" and went in search of a suitable point in the fence where they could make an unobserved entry...

Once a blind spot had been located one of the agents started to cut at the fence then uttered "we could do with a disguise once we're in."
Then girl feeling relieved her friend was being rescued giggled "you could be a lollipop man" The other agent removed a leaf stricken lollipop from the agents shoulder. Once through the fence they stealthily headed toward the building. Once they were outside the little girl pointed to a ...

an open window ... one of the agents lifted her up so she could see what was happening inside .... it was like a scene from one of those James films that she wasn't allowed to watch .... a vast cavernous room full of industrial equipment all shiny and deadly looking, in the far distance she could see the e.s.c.o truck that had taken her friend .....
