Can any one suggest a cheapish book to find my way around London on foot preferably ? I also like to catch the buses.
Meeting a friend at Charing cross station, going to the zoo Regents Park I believe, that sort of thing. I am staying in Walworth rd Southwark SE17 1JL
TIA

I'd invest in an A to Z map and a London Bus Map. You can get anywhere in the city doing that.

I recommend using walkit.com. Brilliant site to guide you about.

Can be used on your phone too.
This any use? London's a big place so walking might not be the best option.
