I didn't get where I am today by lighting wood burners at 19:00 hours.
quite parky, isn't it Miss T. My radiators turn themselves on but they don't seem to have done so yet.
Put my heating on about 7.30. Have just turned it off. I was really cold
Question Author
Ha ha. I was cold. I'm quite immobile and get cold easily. Putting on a jumper doesn't help.
Question Author
Yes its parky jno, we were on the coast last night and it was blooming frozen. Went to the theatre for the first time in ages!
outsisde at night! Ooh er, you're braver than me. I haven't done that in weeks.

My radiators have come on now.
As I have said before - my heating has been on for some hours at night time for some weeks now and if cold enough - during the day.

At age 11 I picked off icicles inside window of the old house and at over 66 I aint picking them off again - I worked too hard.

Can anybody explain to me if they have the money why are these people denying themselves some heat when they are on their way out. Please.
How cold is it where you all are?
It's 12 here...chillier than I thought. Going down to 8. I'm comfortable enough...got a gillet on, and my heating pad for my back.
I am in Belfast Pasta - so unsure of cold/heat temperatures but I sure do know many many many people who have loadsa money who just won't turn the heat on.

Not me.

Ha ha JJ 'on their way out'. That's very comforting. The problem I have is a husband who never feels cold!
Log fires here for a couple of nights, MissT because of a slight plumbing problem. Fixed today so Dave's now testing the radiators. If there is a leak I'm going to sit in a corner with a bottle of red and hum tunelessly.

Jno. Went to the theatre in Sunny Hunny. It wasn't sunny. Went to see the Manfreds and they were brilliant. Great musicianship. When we got out of the theatre,to me it felt like Siberia

Had a nice chat with Paul Jones whom I was madly in love with at 16!!
Miss T/lottie - hope he warmed you up
I must be hot blooded. I'm sat here with a sleeveless t -shirt and knee length jeans. I've only just shut window.

He's still a dish JJ. He's 80 and looks a a slim 60 and very fit. And his voice is amazing hitting the highnotes with ease. A great evening out. Only trouble is we borrowed a wheelchair and husband it with mev n in into Paul's bum!!
Question Author
Patsy, it has poured down all day and the temperature has dropped dramatically.
Oh, it's been a reasonable sunny day here, s.w., but temperature did drop early this evening. I did put a cardigan on for a short time but had to take it off after a little while. :-)
It was lovely and sunny in this part of the SW too. I wore a light linen/denim jacket...it wasn't as chilly as yesterday.
i am probably feeling too cold all the time with having Type2. feet constantly cold. sister has bought me loads of socks but can't seem to get heat.

I'm a cold hearted *** LOL
