Hi loopyc, i was kind of put of time travellers wife because my mum read it and hated it! But maybe i should try it for myself. i will try get hold of cecilia ahern's books too, thanks for the suggestions :-)
I read Lovely Bones and I thought it was brilliant - really different. It made me cry a few times but gives you a slightly different perspective on life for a while don't you think??
You might enjoy Brendan Halpin's "Two of Us", about the orphaned daughter of a lesbian couple who has to go and live with her biological father. Also, his "Long Way Back", about a guy who goes off the rails after the death of his wife.
"This Strange New Life" by Rachel Anderson documents a girl dealing with both her beloved brothers' suffering from ME.
Finally, Brian Strause's "Maybe A Miracle" about a girl in a coma who performs miracles.
Yes I have read the Lovely Bones and was moved , have you read a Boy Called It, sadly it is a true story but it certainly stirred up my emotions, well worth the read, written by David Seltzer.
Ive just bought a Jodi picoult book, but im not sure whether its going to be my kind of thing! are they a bit nasty? lol i normally read stuff like cecilia ahern and sophie kinsella, id recommend them! Oh and my fave book - The island byt Victoria Hislop!
