tracing a children's book

I saw a poster in a shop today which conjured up memories of a childhood book. It wasn't Peter Rabbit but had a picture of a rabbit and a squirrel. It looked like the pictures were 50's/60's drawings. Any ideas would be welcome.

I think I have answered my own question via the net - Little Grey Rabbit etc by Alison Nuttley. Can anyone tell me when these were first published or jog my memory on a few of the characters - such as Fuzzypeg the hedgehog.

Yes, sorry, it is Alison Uttley. It is all the talk about squirrels - I put a Nut instead of an Utt!!
