my mother is trying to find out how many books in the series of the above and what the names were??

There is a site called Fantast Fiction which should have the answer.

Sorry,the site is called FantasticFiction,www.fantasticfiction.co.uk.
I had a quick look and Lords of the Middle Dark is the first book of the Rings of the Masters series of which there are four books.Check out the picture of Chalker.
