James Patterson Books - Alex Cross
5 Answers
Hi
I have read loads of James Patterson's books, but have not read any Alex Cross novels.
I enjoyed the women's murder club books and even his latest ones, have not read Sail yet.
What do people think of the Alex Cross books, and are they worth reading?

I started 'Along Came A Spider', and did enjoy it, but I kept visualising Morgan Freeman, who played AC in the film version, and I didn;t like the image, I like to formulate my own visions of characters, so i stopped reading the book.
Don't let that put you off though, that's just an idiosynchrasy of mine.

I enjoy Alex Cross more than the other Patterson creations. As advised it is best to read them in order, I'm completely confused sometimes from not following the family subplots too well.
