books for 15 yr old and 17 yr old

Could anyone please recommend a book for a 15 yr old boy and a 17 yr old girl. Maybe a sci fi for the boy and a romance for the girl.

Do them both a favour and buy them book tokens. Otherwise you take the chance that a) he doesn't like sci-fi and she doesn't like romance, and b) they've already read whatever you buy.

Either that or ask their parent/carer/friend/relative what they'd like.

The Twilight series for both. It is Sci-Fi and Romance all in one!!

His Dark Materials for both i'd say. A fantasyi but there's a killer romantic side towards the back end of the trilogy.
