i have a book called the temperance mirror it was published in 1888 the author is j.r.lowell the book has an inscription and the book is vol v111 .manythanks

There are 8 volumes listed on Addall Used Book Search. The nearest date to your copy is 1893 and Vol. Xlll which is priced at �20. As there are no copies of Vol. Vlll, and it is the earlier date of 1888, your book might fetch about �30.
However, the book would need to be in fairly good condition. You could try approaching a seller of used books to see if there is any interest. One other thing, Christian books are not selling too well at present, but you might be lucky. Hope this helps.
