Is there a book on The Battle Of Britain from the German perspective?
I'm thinking in terms of the participants, just anecdotal stories.

LOL one of my mates said he fell over yesterday whilst walking over the bridge, he said when he fell he started sliding down and then spun around and couldn't get up, he was lucky he didn't harpooned.
Are you suggesting your mate is like a whale? lol

Went to library this morning and followed my own advice. If you don't ask etc. etc. Librarian suggested a google.de (for example) search, rather than google.co.uk

Maybe one of our continental friends may be of better help.
There are probsbly quite a few if you can read German. Have you thought of trying amazon.de?
I haven't actually read these books all the way through, but they might be what you're after. There are a couple by a guy called Adolf Galland (you can get them from Amazon I imagine) he was one of the German pilots. There is also another called Spitfire on My Tail: A View from the Other Side by Ulrich Steinhilper.
Hope that helps!
