I have just finished reading all the books ritten by Rebecca Shaw and Evie Houston. Can anybody recommend books by authors who write in a similar style i.e. ongoing series of stories about a village. Thanks.

Jcaplen, if you want to read about a family from the middle ages in Yorkshire until the present time, have a look at the Morland Dynasty from Rosemary Hawley Jarman - I have been reading a book a year since she started writing, we are now at 1917 and the latest was book no. 32 in the series!

Another good series was Almonds and Raisins by Maisie Mosco, there were six books in the series, not village life but about a Jewish family in the first book escaping the Holocaust and settling in the UK.
