Last year a company produced a dictionary with the wrong meaning for a word and had to recall the books. What was the word? Thanks.

siphon?
The OED definition of 'siphon' has been wrong for ages. They've apologised, but I don't think they withdrew any edition over the error.

On the other hand, it's not unknown for dictionaries to include at least one totally fictitious word to help guard against copyright theft...
