Also try Jake and Dinos Chapman of the YBA genre (young british artists) championed by Saatchi. They have created pieces using toy soldiers, toy cars etc into 'scenes'. I remember one called 'Hell' that made an impact!
Koons, and the Chapman bros. especially, although they use child's toys, do not create art FOR children. In fact some of their stuff can be very disturbing eg. the mutant children mannequins they create, and as is typical for YBA's and similar artists have generated lots of strong feelings, so be wary.
