Name of book

Does anyone know the name of a book by Jenny Nimmo, it's about a girl who moves house in Wales and at one point I think she is in a Church? and she meets a boy and his dad is making a painting or something along those lines. It is very related to Snow Spider. I'm sorry ther's not much detail, I read this book when I was young and it was really good. Thanks
