Upon reaching the end of the book I assumed David had become an angel. People around him had died, but they weren't angels, so how and why did he become one?

Your thoughts would be appreciated.
Hi, Naomi.

Glad you're back. Sorry I don't know the answer to your question.

Perhaps I should read the book.

Oh, except ... now I've read the spoiler, LOL.

Well, anyway, it's good to see you.
Question Author
Ha ha! Thanks Jayne. Lovely to see you. It's worth reading - even if you have read the spoiler!! :o)

ps. His 'The Shadow of the Wind' is better!!!! Highly recommended!!!
Okay, Naomi. Just read the reviews.

Shadow Of The Wind ... on my shopping list for tomorrow.

I'll try City Books and Waterstones. Otherwise, I'll resort to Amazon.
a quick google suggests nobody has the faintest idea, though some liked it anyway

Well, it's not just me then. That's a relief!
He must have been an avatar sent by God to do some good works here. When they were completed he returned to his heavenly home. There can be no other explanation, as the souls of mortals don't become Angels.
Question Author
Mmm.... you haven't read it have you Sandy.
No. But as you well know, God works in mysterious ways his wonders to perform.
So whatever David may have done there may have been a Divine purpose behind his actions.
Question Author
Nope. There wasn't. Mysteriouser and mysteriouser! :o)
I'll read it and come back with a considered answer
Question Author
