Titian's Assumption of Mary (in the church of the Frari, Venice)

For it's sheer enormity and beautiful use of light and shade, the ********** by Rembrandt.

The Persistance of Memory by Dali is also right up there as a favourite - as well as his One Second Before Awakening from a Dream Caused by the Flight of a Bee Around a Pomegranate simply because the name says it all!

I cannot possibly imagine what is wrong with the name of the painting by Rembrandt!

How frustrating, I give up!

Katejess was that the **********?
How hilarious, So to see the time you look at your watch even at night don't you?
How about the night watch?
I've seen the "**********" and it is magnificent, every time you look at it you notice a new detail, but of all the paintings I haven't seen for real I think I'd like to see Botticelli's "Birth of Venus".
Yes Graemer, that'll be the one!!
I think it's the curse of that word that appears in the middle when you make night watch one word! How bizzare.
In that case I bet the ab ed feels like a ********** :)
Blimey Graemer, I never noticed it until you pointed it out!!  I will be more careful in future.......but then again, what naughtiness!
Katejess and NewDazzler, this is a topic close to Indie Singer's heart and hopefully his campaigning will get it sorted. Sorry Katejess I called you Jules in Indie's thread when relating what happened here.
