Who was Mazo de la Roche? What did he/she write?

She was a Canadian author who was born Mazo Roche in Newmarket, Ontario in 1879. She wrote over forty novels and short stories the most famous being the Jalna series of books which traced the prehistory and story of the Whiteoak family. She wrote these over a period of thirty years - something of a literary record. She died in Toronto in 1961.
