anybody a fan of tom conti?

good afternoon.

i've seen tom conti in a few excellent roles (merry christmas mr lawrence being my favourite)

i'm going - with my mother - to see him live on stage in a play next week at my local theatre (cambridge) and we are both looking forward to it.
we'll make a day of it .. it would have been my late fathers' birthday - so at lunch we will have a drink in memory of him.

i remeber him in The Glittering Prizes many years ago when good TV drama was being made

Saw him on stage several years ago in "jeffery Bernard is unwell" he was really good, Hope you enjoyed what you saw as much as we did :-)

One of the best roles he ever played was in a television serial called 'The Glittering Prizes' written by Fredric Raphael. It is obtainable as a DVD on Amazon. - Christmas present?
