Does anybody have a clue what the meaning of "Everything serves the Beam",and the "Crimson King" etc, was in this novel,where  the" Low Men in Yellow Coats "make thier appearance;what did King have in mind when  writing these things?

I think they are references to the events in the Dark Tower series, but I've only read half the first one, so am not sure.

Yes if you read the Dark Tower series all will be revealed, but I think you definitely should read those as they're excellent, so I won't say more :0)
