Could anyone please tell me which book I need to read first in the "Pern" series? Or even give me the complete list in chronological order? Many thanks.

Dragonsdawn is the first if you want to read them in chronological order. Dragonflight was the first I read. Have them all. There is a website. Will give you all the details. Go to hers or that of her son Todd. Hope you get as addicted as I did.

Some are parallel time stories. They were not all written in sequence. One of my favourite group of books.
