Hi, I've set up a blog as part of my coursework. I would be so grateful if people could take the time to look at my work and comment their thoughts and opinions on the piece and how I could improve them.

I don't have time to look properly just now but noticed that you haven't filled in "About Me". It might be a good idea to give a background to your research/coursework.

I will try and have another look later.
Hi Sophie, Looks good - Is it the blog set-up or the art piece or both that you would like feedback on?
I use Blogspot for my Blog - would it help if I gave you few links to blogspot blogs that I really like the design and layout of for comparison?
Are you asking us to compare accents?

If so, audio clips would help - I know what a Liverpool accent sounds like, but not the others.
Unless I missed something you have one picture/chart which claims to compare accents yet show no evidence of why you feel they are similar/different. I think you need to add more before asking for opinions.

Hi peaspeculiars its the art piece itself please and yes that would be great help :) Tuvok im just looking for opinions on the piece I've uploaded specifically
Could both the captions and the 'pies' be bigger?
hi Sophie
info is clear

but the criteria on which you base the pie-graph isnt
Sophie, Would you like the viewer to have more of a background to how you collated your evidence for the piece or is it meant to urge the viewer to ask questions like the AB posters already have?
Is it meant to be clear, or more of a talking point?
It is confusing to me as it appears to be scientific looking, but has no explanation as to how the evidence was collated or that Liverpool is the main city of which the other areas are related - could this be made clearer by perhaps centralising Liverpool or making it a more dominant 'pie chart'?
In regards to the blog layout - have a play in layout and templates, this way you can get your most popular posts on the main page so people can find your pieces easily, fill in the 'about me' section and look at changing the main background and size of your blog pictures to emphasize your pieces. Here's a couple of nice examples of blogspot layouts:

My thoughts: How bewildering.

My opinion: Weird

How to improve them: Not sure that you can, the plain-ness, dour colour scheme, the simple font, and the formal layout actually seem really appropriate.
