I am sure we used to have nrentford nylons here didn't they sell all,sorts of curtain materials and nets rugs ect .

In Sheffield there were three department stores.. Roberts Bros, Walshes and Cockaynes and a great record and music shop called Wilson Pecks

Lots off names coming out I had forgot about
I so remember The Home & Colonial the smell from the fresh coffee and Tea and the Butter Pats made to order and wrapped in greased paper :o)
