Italian Film

I have just watched Passolini's 'Oedipus Rex' and the final scene reminded me of another (Italian I think) film. In the film I can't remember there is a scene where a young man dressed in a Ancient Greek/Roman style tunic is stood next to a busy modern road playing a flute while loads of traffic wiz by. Does anybody know which film I'm thinking of?
