In the poem without you by Adrian Henri, write an essay about the relationship about the poet and the subject in the poem. What does Adrian Henri think about the subject in the poem.

Please help me, I attempted it but I couldn't understand it. Some please help.

Can't help you really as I've always taken poetry at face value, ie just enjoyed the poem for what it is. I don't want to know what mood the poet is in or the state of his love life, etc.

However it is very pleasing to see that Adrian Henri is the subject of an exam course - at last.
He loves her/him.

Without his love, life would be empty and meaningless. That's what it's about.
