A quick web search found that CCD died in 1986. (Exact date not found).

I can't work out why you should assume that CCD's son was called Jonah Barrington. (Surely it should be ------ Dalmaine?). 'Jonah Barrington' was a pseudonym used by CCD. I doubt very much that he would have tried to name his son in this way.

Just for the record, the squash player Jonah Barrington was born in Cornwall in 1941 but, since he represented Ireland at his chosen sport, it seems reasonable to suspect that he has Irish parentage.
