goblet of fire
i'm reading goblet of fire again for the fith time but still don't get the first chapter, who were killed at the start, was it tom riddle and his parents? if so who killed them?
who was frank?
what did voldermort mean by milking nagini?
and how come there are never any funerals mentioned in any of the books?
where do they go when they die?
i know i asked a lot of questions here but if anyone has some spare time i'd love to hear your comments and theories. thanks

Have you read book 6 yet? It explains a lot.
In the beginning of goblet, voldemort kills his father (Tom Riddle) and his father's parents. The gardener (frank) gets blamed for the murders, and years later it is him who overhears voldemort in the house, and he gets caught snooping, so voldemort kills him.
Don't know about the rest... sorry!
yeh both wee called tom but later tom junior added marvelo as his middle name, so when the letters were rearranged they spelt I AM LORD VOLDERMORT,
he killed his dad and grandparents, his mum died giving bith to him, she was a witch and when tom senior who was a muggle found out he abandoned her even though she was expecting his baby. i am now reading the order of the phonix again so i may be back asking more questions. thanks to all who answered my questions.
If you have to be over the age of 17 to put your name in the goblet of fire and Fred and George (Rons bro's) couldn’t do it who are 2 years above Hermione (and Harry + Ron) this would make Hermione at least 15 ( i think she was 15)
Then victor krum (who managed to put his name in the goblet, so he must be at least 18) takes her on a date..
Is this acceptable? 18(nearly 19) y/o with a 15 (just turned)y/o?
