Have you tried the publishers? I know it a silly question but there was a school book here that was so popular the publishers were approached and re published it, became a best seller - Soundings - leaving cert English

Further, you'll need to specify WHICH examination board you're referring to (since each of the 9 boards will have had their own syllabi) and WHICH 'O'-level English examination you're referring to (since all of the boards will have offered both 'English Language' and 'English Literature'). So there will be at least 18 different syllabi for that year.
I sat my o levels in 1985 - we did the Tale of the Ancient Mariner, Cider with Rosie, Romanov and Juliet and some Shakespeare play (can't remember which). This was with WJEC but I expect it varied by exam board.
Thanks everyone .... no idea of the examination board - it was English Literature we were looking for .... my husband can only remember doing The Pit and the Pendulu and To Kill a Mockingbird ..... if that might ring any bells?
