What I have notice that is really strange is that if you're right-handed it's difficult to use a pair of scissors using your left hand. I think it's something to do with the thumb pressure.

..... I'm fairly sure that all scissors are designed for right handed use. If you use a pair of scissors using your left hand, it's really awkward - you need a pair of left handed scissors where the blades are arranged the other way round.
I'm left handed. But I use a knife and fork right handed, but a spoon left handed. I shoot right handed with rifle or pistol, but use a knife left handed.
My ex is left handed and he could use both hands except for writing. It's a right handed world, left handed people have to learn how to use both hands.
