can anyone recommend some modern (1960s onwards) fiction books set in washington dc? they can be any genre (horror, thriller etc) but not romamce.

Whilst not specifically set in Washington DC the whole time, her characters in a lot of her books do spend a lot of time there, and she does some great descriptions of Washington and the surrounding area, as well as restaurants etc.. Will go and rummage in my bookcase, and see which of her books mention Washington!
