He's meant to, Redhelen. He's a caricature of an anti-woke Gammon type who's proud of saying disgusting things. Sense of humour required to enjoy his behaviour. Those who find him funny may love the portrayal of such an awful creature, or may love his portrayal of what they'd love to be if they had the nerve and the gift for his shafts of wit.

I have to say I have laughed at what Sir Les says - it’s his physical appearance and demeanour that makes me feel sick. Scruffy, fat, dirty and sweaty looking and spitting all over the place. Yuk!
