Sorry to sound stupid, do all or most laptops+desktops have the same image on their screens across the world? thanx to microsoft?

barry, I get images like that when I switch on my computer, and it'll ask me whether I like it or not. If I say no, it'll usually go away though sometimes return a few weeks later. I don't get to choose that image, though, only my screensaver.

The Microsoft memes do appear on any screen hosting a Microsoft account if the account holder has not set up their own "theme" and allows Microsoft to choose the images. These images do change, and are universal according to the operating system and place in the ongoing Microsoft programme. Like Barry I have my own "theme" set up but do scroll through the ongoing images on a tab that is not logged in with my "details". Asher Brown was a great admirer of John Constable.
